Oregon man sentenced in OWI fatal crash

A 22 year old Oregon man has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for a fatal crash two years ago.

Jeremy Adams was going double the speed limit in a 45 mile an hour zone on Highway M in Fitchburg, when he caused a crash that killed 86 year old Mildred Norhaus in 2010.

Adams is a former youth coach from Oregon. He was sentenced Thursday in Dane County Circuit Court.

Police say he was under the influence of marijuana at the time of the crash.
