MADISON - An 18-year old is hospitalized after rolling his car Saturday morning on Madison's east side.
Madison Police responded to the accident shortly before 3am and found the vehicle flipped over near the intersection of Highway 30 and East Washington Avenue.
It appears the driver was outbound on 30, when he lost control of the vehicle.
The police report says it is unknown if he was wearing a seatbelt, however, speed and alcohol do appear to be factors.
The 18-year old was transported to a local hospital and is in critical condition.
Meanwhile, a rollover crash killed a man in southern Dane County.
The County Sheriff's say the accident occurred around 5:30 Saturday morning along Highway 92 in the Town of Primrose, just south of Mt. Vernon.
The vehicle, a 2005 Ford Ranger Pickup, was on it's roof when authorities arrived and the driver, a 27-year old male, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver appears to have failed to negotiate a turn and rolled several times before stopping 50 feet from the road.
He was not wearing a seatbelt, and speed and alcohol appear to have been factors.
Both accidents remain under investigation.
