UPDATE: Suspects Identified in Madison Bank Robbery; One Man Still At Large

UPDATED Wednesday, October 9, 2013 --- 2:54 p.m.

Madison Police have identified the suspects in Monday's Anchor Bank robbery.

25-year-old Walter Johnson has been arrested on a probation hold and the MPD will recommend he be charged with party to a crime–robbery.

40-year-old Juan Plunkett has been identified as the man seen in the surveillance photo. He is still at large, and there is a warrant for his arrest.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Madison Area Crime Stoppers at 266-6014.

Madison Police are searching for two men who robbed an Anchor Bank Monday morning.

The robbery happened at 8:54 at the location at 216 Cottage Grove Rd.

No weapons were seen. One robber approached the teller, while a second took a seat during the crime.

Police describe the suspects as:

1. Male, black, mid-30's, 5'10", stocky build, wearing a gray sport coat dress slacks, plaid golf hat.

2. Male, black, early 20's, wearing a doo-rag under a flat hat with a bigger brim, dark clothing, and silver colored glasses.

Police have provided a surveillance photo of the main robber.
