MADISON, Wis. (AP) _ Madison police say a man thwarted a burglary by chasing two teens from his garage and then leading officers to where they were hiding.
The Wisconsin State Journal reports two 17-year-olds have been arrested and face tentative charges of burglary and resisting arrest.
Police said in a statement that the 49-year-old homeowner found the teens in his garage about 2 p.m. Friday and chased them out. Then he led officers to a shed, where the teens were hiding.
Police say one teen was arrested at the shed, while the other jumped a fence and ran. That teen was caught a few blocks away.
The homeowner told police that one of the teens was going through his wife's SUV when he found them in the garage.
